Wootton and Dry Sandford Pre-School takes place daily, Monday to Thursday from 9.15am to 1pm in the Community Centre.
The Pre-School caters for children from the age of two and a half until they start school. It has a staff of four local women and is run by a committee of parents.
The organisers and staff work hard to provide a range of structured activities for the mainly local children who attend. These include story time and singing, painting and crafts, outings and outdoor play using a good range of toys and equipment. A fruit snack with milk or water is provided mid-morning. From time to time the children and staff join in with the Thursday morning coffee sessions in the Old Folks Room.
The Pre-School is regularly Ofsted inspected and the last inspection (in October 2014) produced a good report. The Pre-School can take up to 24 children.
The fee for each session and lunch can be found by contacting the number below. Parents are encouraged to get involved by helping out with the children and serving on the Committee.
