The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) at The Wootton & Dry Sandford Community Centre

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is located at The Wootton and Dry Sandford Community Centre in Wootton.

Location: It is located on an external wall to the left of the door of the main entrance of WADS CC.

Access: Telephone 999 and give the location code (the location code is on the exterior of the AED box) to the operator who will give you the code to open the box.

Usage: The AED comes with full instructions and can be safely used by a member of the public.  In the event of someone suffering a heart attack the first action should be to call for help so that first aid can be administered, then if there is a second person they can fetch the defibrillator.

Wootton Parish Council plans to install further Defribrillators in the Parish but would like to know where you think they should go. If you have a suggestion please let us know by emailing the Wootton Parish Clerk.
